In May 2008, the company set up the wholly foreign-owned subsidiary, PT Robert Bosch, in Jakarta and has branch offices in Surabaya, Medan, Balikpapan, Semarang, Bali. In 2015 Bosch in Indonesia generated IDR 1.2 billion (81 million euros) in sales and employed more than 200 associates (as per December 31, 2015). Bosch provides a wide range of technological products and solutions including components, diagnostic tools and equipment for automotives, drive and control technology, home appliances, power tools, security systems and thermotechnology.
